Foster The People Plot 'Good Mourning Sunshine' North American Tour

Foster the People are taking their psychedelic new live universe on the road.

The indie-pop favorites have announced the “Good Mourning Sunshine” North American 2026 Tour, a fall run promoted by Live Nation that will bring the band across the U.S. and Canada with support from Goth Babe and The Beaches on select dates.

The tour kicks off September 9 at Arizona Financial Theatre in Phoenix and will hit major markets including Berkeley, Seattle, Red Rocks, Chicago, Toronto, Boston, Washington, DC, New York, Philadelphia, Nashville, Atlanta, Austin, Houston, San Diego, and more before wrapping October 23 at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.

The run follows a major resurgence for the band around their latest album, Paradise State of Mind, which earned Foster the People their third Top 10 entry on Billboard’s Album Sales chart and fueled a sold-out global tour across North America, Europe, the UK, and Latin America in 2025.

Now, the band is building on that momentum with a newly debuted live show first unveiled at Coachella. The production leans into a vivid, retro-futurist concept, transporting fans into a 1950s-inspired utopia that gradually collapses into a psychedelic dreamscape. The result is part concert, part social commentary, and part technicolor fever dream — a fitting stage world for a band that has long blurred glossy pop hooks with darker undercurrents.

Tickets begin rolling out with a Citi presale on Tuesday, May 5 at 8 a.m. local time, followed by an artist presale beginning Tuesday, May 5 at 10 a.m. local time. Additional presales will continue throughout the week, with the general onsale set for Friday, May 8 at 10 a.m. local time via fosterthepeople.com.

Fans can register for the artist presale at the band’s website. Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets through the Citi Entertainment program.
