The Wizard of Oz at Sphere continues to prove that audiences are eager for immersive entertainment, with Sphere Entertainment Co. announcing that the groundbreaking attraction has surpassed $400 million in ticket sales and sold more than 3 million tickets since opening on August 28, 2025.
The milestone underscores the massive appeal of Sphere’s reimagined presentation of the beloved classic, which has become one of Las Vegas’ biggest entertainment draws over the past year. Combining the iconic 1939 film with Sphere’s cutting-edge visual and audio technology, the production has helped redefine what a movie-going experience can be.
The achievement marks another major success for Sphere Entertainment, whose Las Vegas venue has quickly become a destination attraction since opening. The company has continued to position Sphere as a next-generation entertainment platform capable of hosting concerts, original productions, and immersive cinematic experiences on a scale unlike anything else in the industry.
The strong ticket sales performance comes as Sphere Entertainment pushes forward with expansion plans, including previously announced Sphere venues in Abu Dhabi and National Harbor, signaling growing confidence in the venue’s unique entertainment model.
Tickets for The Wizard of Oz at Sphere remain on sale through Sphere’s official website.
The experience comes to life through a collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery, Google, and Magnopus, with the creative team of Academy Award-nominated producer Jane Rosenthal, Academy Award-winning visual effects specialist Ben Grossmann, Academy Award-winning editor Jennifer Lame, and creative director Zack Winokur.
